The heat has arrived! Now that the heat has hit the rivers of Central Idaho the whitewater rafting will be in full swing. The water levels have lowered enough that floaters will be making the great run from Hammer Creek on the Salmon River to Heller Bar on the Snake River. Floating the Lower Salmon River is one of the most popular rafting trips of Central Idaho. The shuttle for your vehicles is good because it is 90% on paved roads. It is a safe transport of an automobile. Now that the heat has cranked up, Hell’s Canyon on the Snake River will earn its name. I shuttled a car over to Pittsburg Landing on the Snake River and fried a couple of eggs on the pavement! It was hot. I hope everyone will enjoy the great weather and rivers of Central Idaho.
